Bout' to order T shirts

If you want a PBS T shirt with the new Logo: Take $11 Uhmerican dollars to Sycamore Cycles by Friday December 18th. Tell them your shirt size and we will order one foryou. The $11 dollars is for members only and that is @ cost. 15 dollars for non-members which is still a pretty good deal. The shirts will be dark gray with the PBS logo on the chest in white, and a sycamore tree on the left rear quarter panel. Probably wont be any/many extras so if you want more than one pay for it now, might not be another order for a while.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We are getting a Banner made and T shirts, all active members need to put in $10 dollars for the Banner and active members will be notified of availability of t shirts before the Icycle, and we will have them for sale at the Icycle. Here is the new logo

December meeting

Yep, its that time of the month again. Come on out to the group ride and then for the PBS meeting at the Chapel (El Chapalas) afterwords. Nothing really to discuss, that I know of but bring any and all news you might have. See you Thursday and keep those beards growing Pisgah.

November meeting minutes

We had the monthly meeting last Thursday to talk about the topics in the previous blog, and here is a quick rundown:

-Wilmur had the special chicken tenders

-PBS logo items we want are a Banner, shirts, and possibly stickers. The banner will be purchased with donations and will be about $100. There will be a donation box set up at the shop for this drop in some bones when you can. We will probably take orders on shirts to see if we have enough interest, and the same for stickers.

-PBS will likely be a major sponsor for the Sycamore Cycles 2010 race kits, in lieu of getting PBS only kits which would be pretty expensive.

-Sponsorship of The Icycle will be the "Dance competition" brought to you by the PBS, and hopefully we will have our banner by then.

-Again, pictures have been pushed back to the December meeting. I think everyone wants to improve there beard.

-I think because of the Grande's we forgot to talk about a list of members, that will be put on next months agenda again.

-Everyone agreed to spread the word of our social club growing, supporting, and appreciating facial hair of all kinds.

Last nights meeting

Greetings,

The meeting went well last night, here are a few highlights:

- Justin thinks he may have found an official PBS (Pisgah Beard Society) barber/stylist/groomer, he will keep us updated

-The next meeting is October 1st as we have decided to meet on the first Thursday of every month.

-Pictures will be taken at the next meeting, so everyone who plans to be a part needs to be there. I am thinking individual pictures and a group one also.

-Some people were told to man up and grow a beard/stashe/sideburns, you know who you are, get it together.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

August 13th will be our first monthly meeting at El Chapala Mexican restaurant in Pisgah Forest. There will be a mountain bike ride before hand starting at 6 o clock, meeting at Sycamore Cycles for all you that are riders. The actual meeting will be over dinner and a couple of Grandes. It should be around 9 o clock. Anyone who is considering being a member should try and make it out this week, as we will be discussing what we are all about.
